Can you believe it? The “little business that could” started out all because with the production of a cross stitch Project Bag I made for my daughter, Brittany. That bag might be termed as Blooming Daisies Craft’s first special order. As a busy, on-the-go mom, who was also very creative, Brittany needed something smarter than a grocery bag. That Project Bag carried and managed her projects. It was so well made that she still uses it.
And now look how it has blossomed! Five years later, Blooming Daisies Crafts has
over 500 Needle Minders (with 2 additional going up this week), over 60 Q-Snap/WIP Project Bags, 130+ Grime Guards, made our own pattern for Dust Covers that protect hoop framed WIP, and expanded to Nurse/Surgical Caps due to the changes from Covid.
The newest Blooming Daisies Crafts Needle Minders are for the cat lovers and “Wednesday” fans. The Black Cat Snarky Needle Minder is a cat with an attitude and is for the cat lovers out there, and Blooming Daisies Crafts knows there are quite a few of you! The other one, I could not resist! Have you watched the new show “Wednesday”? My husband and I are really big Addams Family fans; I even have the pinball machine in my family room. The Needle Minder is Thing. Maybe, with the additional fingers that Thing brings to a project, he can help us get our stitching done that much faster.
The fabric selection of Q-Snap/WIP Project Bags and Grime Guards over laps as the same material is used for both products. However, Blooming Daisies Crafts offers 60 print choices. This makes ordering complementing accessories easy—each of the products has its specific job: protecting your precious WIP. Having accessories that are pleasing to the eye is a bonus! Blooming Daisies Crafts has 43 scroll rod Dust Covers and has developed a Dust Cover for Hoop Frames! The newest of the scroll rod Dust Covers, introduced this past week, has a fun Camper/Trailer print with a gray lining. The fabric selection keeps growing as Blooming Daisies Crafts works to anticipate what prints reflect its growing customer base. It is also exciting to see the number of customers who have shopped their own fabrics and have special ordered their individual Dust Covers.
As mentioned above, Blooming Daisies Crafts features over 50 different fabric choices for Nurses/Surgical Caps. Some are listed on the website but the full selection is posted on eBay because more searches are generated there than on the Blooming Daisies Crafts website. Finally, Blooming Daisies Crafts has published over 180 blogs (not including this one)!
