I don’t know about you, but my inbox is full of emails from companies updating me (and others) of how they are being proactive during this COVID-19 pandemic. BloomingDaisiesCrafts is doing its part as well.
BloomingDaisiesCrafts is announcing the “Coronavirus Challenge”!
As you hunker down in your homes so the world can get this awful pandemic under control, what are you working on? While this is a technically a cross stitch blog, I am opening it up to any and all projects.
Pictured, you will see the “start” of my challenge. This fun project is entitled “Pretend It’s Friday” and is my WIP (work in progress). This photo will set the base at which I begin. Feel free to start with a new canvas, continue the one you are working on, or pick up an old one! Hopefully, this self-isolation will not be as long as indicated, but this is the opportunity to have some fun and get some work done.
Do you think this project will be forever known as our “Coronavirus Project”? I have a picture hanging in my foyer - I worked on it when I was caring for my mom at the end of her life. It’s actually a Christmas penguin project but holds special meaning for me. I think of her each time I see it. I know you likely have projects like that.
So please post a picture of your “Coronavirus Project” to challenge yourself and inspire others to make progress themselves! Next week (or weekly, if this persists), BloomingDaisiesCrafts will post another picture and hopefully, you will too! Once we get back to our normal (or new normal) activities, a final shot will be posted to see all of the progress that was made. If we can’t interact in person, we’ll use this platform and FB!
BloomingDaisiesCrafts hopes you and yours stay healthy in the coming days, and that this is just another blip on the radar of life.
Make sure to check BloomingDaisiesCrafts soon for a video featuring dust covers.
