We are one week into the BloomingDaisiesCrafts Coronavirus Challenge 2020. Seriously, from the families of BloomingDaisiesCrafts, we pray that there will not be a repeat—ever.
Can you see the progress that has been made on “Pretend It’s Friday” cross stitch that is my WIP? I'm hoping to finish it before the next blog so I can show you my new WIP! It is only one of many projects!
It was an official restart for my New Year’s resolution “to be more active outdoors”. As most of you know, I live in Florida, so social distancing has a different look. With temperatures in the high 80’s, low 90’s, we were able to take out the kayaks (while keeping a safe distance from other kayakers) and swim in the pool.
I worked a 1,000 piece puzzle. It was a physical puzzle. With real pieces.
I crafted cow masks for my husband and me. Our youngest granddaughter turns 2 this week and the cow is her favorite animal, so we’ll wear those when we sing “Happy Birthday” via the web. Hopefully she won’t be too scared! This is being published after her birthday sing-a-long, we didn't scare her!!!

As for all of those chores that have been put off for another time, I cannot check any off my list. The dust is accumulating and the piles are still unorganized!!! Oh well, that will wait for another time.
One “nice” outcome from this COVID-19: the increase in the usage of social interaction via FB, Instagram, texting, email, etc. I have had contact with people I haven’t spoken with for a long time including an old neighbor through LinkedIn. Do you remember the tag line: “You can only tell an old friend what’s new”? Now is a great time to reach out to others!
